Head of Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health (CMNH), Professor Nynke van den Broek, is co-chairing a session along with Chris Whitty from the Department for International Development (DFID), entitled Development aid: measuring progress achieved with international financing. One of those taking part in the session co-chaired by Professor van den Broek is CMNH’s Dr Barbara Madaj, who will look at measuring maternal and newborn health in healthcare facilities.

Over the three days those taking part will look at how progress is measured to ensure that all activities are achieving their maximum impact. Those attending, speaking and chairing include representatives of the development aid community, the charitable sector, international funding agencies as well as academia.
