Education

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine has an excellent reputation and success record in training graduate students who go on to further research, consultancy and capacity development throughout the world.

The Centre builds on these existing strengths and brings together staff from a range of disciplines across the School to research and develop and understanding of common themes such as:

  • Skilled Attendance at Birth.
  • Emergency Obstetric Care.
  • Improving reproductive health services,
  • Life Saving Skills,
  • Family planning,
  • Audit methods in Safe Motherhood

There are opportunities at The Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health to enrol in either a Postgraduate degrees or diploma. See the links at the right for further information.

Both courses are accredited by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

We also have extensive experience in further curriculum design and delivery of teaching programmes, and run a number of short courses.
